1.2. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, ie the Data Subject. Processing is any activity involving the collection of personal data, such as acquisition, recording, modification, use, viewing, deletion or destruction.

1.3. The data controller complies with the data processing principles provided by law and is able to confirm that personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable legislation.

2. Data subject - any natural person who has communicated his or her personal data to the Central Operator and whose data are processed by the personal data operator in accordance with the general principles of personal data processing.

Personal data - data on the data subject that the data subject has submitted / communicated to the personal data operator during the application, recruitment or placement process (including via the website). This data includes the applicant's name, contact telephone number, e-mail address, professional experience information or other data that allows the applicant / candidate to be identified in the recruitment process.

"Processing of personal data" shall mean any activity carried out on personal data, including collection, recording, organization, storage, modification, disclosure, access, viewing and retrieval, use, transfer, transfer, reciprocal use, aggregation, closure, deletion or destruction, or several of the above, regardless of the manner in which the operations are carried out or the means used.

These companies / employers may only process your personal data in accordance with our instructions and may not use it for purposes other than the recruitment or placement process. These companies are required by law and our cooperation agreement to comply with an appropriate level of personal data protection.

8. When processing personal data, the personal data operator must comply with the principles set out in the Personal Data Protection Law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

DATA SUBJECT CONSENT AND STORAGE PERIOD

9. The data subject must consent to the processing of his or her personal data by the personal data controller in accordance with these principles and the purpose of the processing of personal data. In order to submit his consent, the data subject must tick the appropriate box on the main operator's website.

10. Submission of consent is a precondition for applying for a vacancy, and failure to consent means that the lead operator will not assess the data subject's suitability for vacancies.

11. The data subject may withdraw his consent at any time by notifying the personal data operator to the e-mail address info@inlandwaterways.lv. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data which took place before the date of withdrawal of consent.

12. Data is stored for 1 (one) calendar year from the acquisition of personal data. If a written application is not received regarding the need to delete his / her data, the storage of personal data shall be extended for another 1 (one) calendar year each time after the expiry of the data storage period.
